Starting Locs & Loc Maintenance
Ever wondered; How long does it take to loc your hair? What’s the best way to start locs? Can beeswax be used? What’s the best product to use on locs? How often can they be washed? Wonder no more. These questions will be answered and dispel any myths you might have regarding hair locking.
In this class you will learn three different ways to start locs, based on texture, how to maintain them using different palm rolling methods (including keeping the frizzies in place), proper use of products, the do’s and don’ts for locing hair, parting techniques and appropriate size to start locs based on texture. A live model and a mannequin will be used.
Cost: $200.00 - Class 3 hours, Sunday 11th December 12:00 – 3:00 pm
Loc Extension, Loc Repair, & Loc Re-Attachment
Instant Locs!!! Do you have clients that want locs but they do not have the patience to wait for them to grow? We will show you how to create instant locs on natural or relaxed hair. These instant locs will allow your clients to immediately be able to style, crinkle, twist, french roll and shampoo them!! You will also learn how to re-attach locs that have fallen of, or extend them if loc was thrown out, and how to repair thinning locs before they break. Loc Extensions are a $600+ service and $3 - $15 per loc to repair. It’s a great Investment!!! (1 pack of Human Kinky Hair will be provided) Mannequin can be purchased.
